Enrolling at our school

​​​To enrol your child/children at Carbrook State School, you will need to complete and return the following forms. These forms can also be found in the enrolment pack available at the school office.


As part of the Education Queensland school system, Carbrook State School has an  enrolment managed area that you can access on the Department of Education's school catchment area EdMap website.  For more information regarding the enrolment management plan for Carbrook State School, please read the Enrolment Management Plan (PDF, 1135KB)​


You should also ensure you have read and understood the school's

attendance policy (DOC, 254KB). 


Please note that enrolment interviews are by appointment only. Please contact the school office to arrange a convenient interview time for all.

Transition Statements

Term 4 is the time when we collaborate with early childhood and care services (ECECs) and engage with new families and their children to prepare for a smooth transition to Prep and ensure they have a great start to learning. 


Kindergarten transition statements are a key resource for this collaboration, providing schools with the opportunity to get to know the child and their family and plan for the transition to school. 


To facilitate the sharing of transition statements between early childhood education and care (ECEC) services and schools, the Department has created a generic transition email address for schools to receive transition statements for new enrolments.
